Phyllanthus emblica or Pokok Melaka is a small to medium sized tree. It can reach up to 18 m, and rarely, 30 m tall. The flowers are greenish-yellow. It is known and cultivated for its edible fruits. The fruit is greenish yellow and hard. The skin of the fruit is very thin, covering crispy, juicy, sour taste flesh.
